Educational Qualifications:
(i) Good academic record as defined by the concerned University with at least 55% of the marks or equivalent grade where grading system is practiced at the Master's degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
(ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidates should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
(iii) NET/SLET/SET shall not be required for such Masters Degree Programmes in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET accredited test is not conducted subject to the conditions stipulated in the UGC Regulations, 2009 of 23-09-2009.
(ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidates should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
(iii) NET/SLET/SET shall not be required for such Masters Degree Programmes in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET accredited test is not conducted subject to the conditions stipulated in the UGC Regulations, 2009 of 23-09-2009.
Age Limit: Up to 40 years as on 11/07/2014. Age Relaxation 05 years in case of SC, ST, Differently abled (PH) candidates and Government Servants, provided that the Govt. servants of SC/ST/ Differently abled (PH) category shall not get this relaxation over and above the general relaxation of 5 years available to them.
Selection Process: Screening Test and Interview. Date, time and venue of Screening Test/ Interview at Agartala will be notified in due course.
Recruitment Fees:
(a) Group-A Posts -> Rs.200/- only for General Candidates and Rs.150/- only for ST/SC/ BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates.
(b) Group-B Posts -> Rs.150/- only for General Candidates and Rs. 100/- only for ST/SC/BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates.
(c) Group-C Posts -> Rs.100/- only for General Candidates and Rs.50/- only for ST/SC/ BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates.
(b) Group-B Posts -> Rs.150/- only for General Candidates and Rs. 100/- only for ST/SC/BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates.
(c) Group-C Posts -> Rs.100/- only for General Candidates and Rs.50/- only for ST/SC/ BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates.
How To Apply: Application in the prescribed form duly filled in by the candidate and 2 (two) copies of recent stamp size photographs of the candidate affixed on the Application and Admit Card to be submitted to the Reception Counter of the TPSC Secretariat by 5.00 PM of the closing date (11/07/2014).

Educational Qualifications:
(a) Essential - A candidate must hold Degree of a recognized University.

Selection Process: Preliminary Examination (Multiple Choice type question pattern), Main Examination(Conventional type-written) and Personality Test. The Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Personality Test will carry 200 marks, 800 marks and 100 marks respectively. The Commission will conduct Preliminary Examination at 03(three) different Centers viz. (i) Agartala, (ii) Kailashahar & (iii) Udaipur.
