NCAOR Recruitment 2014 Research Scientist, Research Associate

The National Centre for Antarctic & Ocean Research (NCAOR) is looking for prospective candidates for filling up the post of Research Scientist B and Research Associate at NCAOR under different projects. The positions are purely temporary and on a project mode initially for a period of one year. Walk in Interview will be held on 13th June 2014.
About: NCAOR, an autonomous society under the Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India.

Qualification & Experience:

Research Scientist B ->

Essential - Masters degree in Biotechnology/ Microbiology or Marine Biology or equivalent from a recognized university with at least 60% marks in the qualifying degree level.
Desirable - Two years of academic R&D experience in the relevant field.

Research Associate ->  Doctorate degree in Microbiology/ Botany/ Life Sciences with specialization in Bacterial Taxonomy/ Molecular Biology from a recognized university.

Walk in Interview -> 13/06/2014 (Friday) at NACOR

All candidates are required to bring the original documents related to educational qualifications, date of birth, work experience, caste etc. Duly attested copies of all the documents must be submitted with the Bio-data (As per enclosed Application Form). One self attested recent passport size photograph should be pasted in the appropriate place in the bio-data.
