Sikkim Police Constable Recruitment 2014, Last date 20/3/2014 [now extended upto 14.05.2014].
Sikkim Police has announced recruitment drive for constable and followers. Eligible candidates will be select after various tests in the second & third India Reserve Battalion (IRB). Application form for constable and followers recruitment project available in the notification and also in the official website of Sikkim Police (www.sikkimpolice.nic.in).  Before applying you need to read following important information and also complete employment notification:

Name of the position: Constable / Followers
Number of vacancies: Total 572 vacancies (Constable -565 posts, Followers: 07). Post wise and category wise vacancy details given below:

1. GD Constable: 450 Posts

2. Constable Driver: 85 Posts
3. Constable (Technical): 30 Posts
4. Follower: 07 Posts

Age criteria

• For both position Sikkim Police required candidates under age between 18 to 22 years (as on 1/5/2013) for general applications. For reserved category applications age can be relaxed as per government rules.

Qualification criteria

• Applicant must hold passed certificate of matriculation / Class X
• Class- VIII passing passed certificate for home guard candidates
• Minimum VIII for followers post
• Candidates who recently appeared in the Class X / Matriculation examination in March April 2013 session can also apply for this post. Selection will me made after result announced.
