Exam Syllabus -> History of Scouting & Guiding, Law & Promise Organization- District & State Level, Training center, Knowledge of books, Scouting for Boys/ Guiding for Girls in India, Motto, Left hand shake, Salute, Prayer, Flag Song, National Anthem, Know the National & Scouting Flag, Social Service at various occasion, Hiking, Proficiency Badges, How are these are earned?, Stages in Scouting & Guiding, Thinking Day, Progressive Training of Scout/ Guide/ Rover & Ranger, Pioneering, Handicraft, Indian Railway Jamborette, National Jamboree, Jamboree on Air. etc.
Examination Fee: Rs.40/- for General & OBC Candidates. The fee pay through Indian Postal Order only, in favour of 'Sr.DFM, N.Rly, Ambala' payable at Ambala. No fees for SC/ST candidates.

Examination Fee: All applications should be accompanied by crossed Indian Postal Order (IPO) or A/c payee Demand Draft of any Nationalized Bank of Rs. 40/- (Rupees Forty only) towards examination fee SC/ST and Ex. Service men candidates are exempted from paying examination fee. The Postal Order or Bank Draft should be drawn in favour of District Commissioner Northern Railway Bharat Scouts and Guides, Lucknow District.
How To Apply: Applications should be typed on good quality A-4 size full scale paper. Application in prescribed format with necessary enclosures should be sent by ordinary post to "Asstt.
