The National Centre for Radio Astrophysics (NCRA), Pune is looking for suitable qualified candidates for recruitment of Project Technical Assistant and Project Engineers on Temporary Basis (upto a maximum period of 3 years). The last date for receipt of Online applications is 23rd May 2014.

Qualification & Experience:

Project Engineer- C, (Motion Control Project) –> BE/B.Tech degree in Electrical/Instrumentation and Control/Electronics  Engineering with more than 60% marks in aggregate. 1-2 years in design, development of electronic printed circuit boards and motion control systems. The skill set should include expertise in analog, power and digital  electronics and embedded systems, and 'C' Programming.

Project Engineer-C -> BE/B.Tech. (Electronics/Computers) with minimum 60% marks from a recognized University. 1-2 years in handling computer hardware and high speed networks.

Project Engineer-C -> BE/B.Tech. (Electronics) with minimum 60% marks from a recognized University. 1-2 years in design, development, testing of Analog/Digital Circuits.

Project Technical Assistant-B -> (i) SSC/HSC, (ii) Diploma in Engineering (Electronics/Computers) with minimum 60% marks. (iii) Knowledge of use of personal computers and its applications. 1-2 years experience in testing & trouble shooting of electronic circuits, computer hardware.

Educational Qualifications:

Project Engineer-C -> BE/B.Tech. (electronics) with minimum 60% from a recognized University. One Years Experience.

Project Engineer-C (Computers) -> BE/B.Tech in Computers/IT/allied fields of engineering with minimum 60% in aggregate from a recognized Institute. Desirable - Experience in administration of Linux/Microsoft Windows based systems and networks. Candidates with knowledge of programming and familiarity with professional design software will be preferred.

Scientific Assistant-B (Library) -> (i) B.Sc. with at least 60% marks and Graduate in Library Science with minimum 60% marks  (ii) Should be conversant with using  of personal computers and running applications on it.

Laboratory Assistant-B (Electronics) -> i) S.S.C. or equivalent, ii) ITI (Electronics) with at least 60% marks. Experience - Either (i) 2 year or (ii) NCTVT with 1 year  in a reputed organisation. SMD soldering experience preferable.

Project Technical Assistant-B (Electronics) -> (i) SSC/HSC, (ii) Diploma in Engineering (Electronics) with at least 60% marks. (iii) Knowledge of use of personal computers and its applications. Experience - Min.1 year experience in RF communication system integration and testing.

Project Tradesman-B (Mech) -> (a) S.S.C. OR Equivalent. (b) ITI (Fitter) with minimum 60% marks. Experience - Either (i) 2 years or (ii) NCTVT with 1 year in reputed workshop/organization in Fabrication of Aluminium and steel/stainless steel work.

Project Tradesman-B (Mech) -> (a) S.S.C. OR Equivalent. (b) ITI (Fitter) with minimum 60% marks. Experience - Either (i) 2 years or (ii) NCTVT with 1 year in reputed workshop/organization in operation and maintenance of Hydraulic Equipments like Hydra Crane or 922 crane etc.  Knowledge of fabrication is essential.
