Archaeological Survey of India (Govt. of India) Delhi invites applications for the post of Research Associates for filling up 15 Vacancies on contractual basis initially for a period of two (02) years but likely to be extended as per requirement in National Mission on Monuments and Antiquities Archaeological Survey of India, Red Fort Complex, Red Fort. Educational Qualifications:
(a) Master Degree in Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archaeology or Medieval Indian History / Archaeology/Anthropology from a recognized university or equivalent.
(b) Essential - Basic Knowledge of computer.
(c) Desirable - (i) Post Graduate Diploma in Archaeology from Institute of Archaeology, Archaeological Survey of India (ii) Knowledge of documentation of Antiquities, Art & Architecture & Knowledge of Monuments & Sites and analysis of data.
Nature of Duties: He / She will assist in compilation of technical data pertaining to built heritage and antiquities and all other matters as and when assigned. He / She will also have to conduct the village to village survey for documentation of built heritages / sites and antiquities as assigned.
Selection Process: The Selection of the candidate will be made on the basis of interview at the Office of National Mission Monuments and Antiquities, Archaeological Survey of India, GE Building, Red Fort Complex, Red Fort, Delhi-11 0006. No travelling allowance will be paid for the attending the Interview.

Educational Qualifications:
Conservation Assistant -> Matriculation or equivalent. Diploma in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution.
Photographer ->
(1) Essential - Matriculation or equivalent. 2 Years experience of Indoor & Outdoor photography, developing, printing, enlarging, copying and preparing of lantern slides.
(2) Certificate in Photography or Microphotography from a recognized Institution. Experience of Cine-photography or Micro-photography.
